PAID IN FULL!!
Those 3 words are MUSIC to my ears! I can not believe it is actually happening!! We leave December 11th for 7 (hopefully) sunny, fun filled days in Cancun, Mexico!! This trip is something I have been wanting to do for a couple of years. Until this year it was just not possible and feasible. I am SOOOO excited, I want to start packing NOW! but we have 41 days until we fly out (yes I am counting, see the ticker?).
We will be staying at the Beach Palace
and hopefully we have enough time to do everything we want to do and see. We are taking the boys, so it should be a really fun experience for them. We plan on visting the ruins at Chichen Itza,
I think we are going to do the swim w/the dolphins, maybe do the jungle zip line and of course I will be have a cabana boy who only cares about making sure I am happy (YUMMY) 
I feel truly blessed that I can give this opportunity to the kids. We will also be celebrating our 21st wedding anniversay while we are down (21 YEARS?! HOLY COW). SO very excited......
We will be home for christmas, but hopefully we will have plenty of fun memories and lots of pictures.
So, if you are looking for any of the Harrison's starting the 11t of December, we will be the happy family sitting on the beach, getting suntans, drinking mai tais and shaking the sand out of our shorts!!!!! (don't worry, I will post pics when we return!)

AND, it's over.....
Well regular season anyways...
Today was the last regular season football game. Until today we were 6-0, but we had to play the SA Rebels, who were also, 6-0. Needless to say, we end up with a record of 6-1. Yes, we lost today, but it was a good game, the score was 6-16, our boys just did not have their normal zip. (Although we beat Sprague TWICE! this season, at Sprague, and those were their only 2 losses, that is a GOOD thing!)
Drake actually played pretty much the entire game today. He even had a few snaps at quarterback (tried a quarterback sneak, think he got about 3 yards. Just not quite enough of him to do much of that). Here is a pitch though that got about 20-25 yards
As part of Pop Warner the parent's are required to have so many volunteer hours. Well today, Mark and Gunner were on the chain gang. Not sure how Drake felt about that, because then Mark was right there on the field and could yell at Drake (not that he would...HA!)
It was a good season. The boys will have a playoff game next weekend (time and place to be determined). If they win that, they will play a championship game at Reser on the November 6th, of course ALWAYS subject to change.
It is kinda bittersweet to see the season coming to an end, but it was alot fun to watch. Had some sunny games and some raining/pouring down rain games. Drake had some good plays over the season and had a good time. He took snaps as quarterback, he had an interception and he caught a pass that he ran to about the 7 yd line, not too bad for a twig :D

Since we are going on vacation in oohhhh about 53 days (who's counting), I am trying to be good and drop a few poounds, so I am really missing some of my friends (above). ESPECIALLY STARBUCKS.... but I have to keep saying "Nothing Tastes as good as thin feels"........

Look what Gunner did....
Gunner was invited to go fishing today with Phil and a buddy of Phil's. They headed over to the Yaquina River ready for, basically a boat ride in the pouring rain. About 10:15 Mark's phone rings, it is Gunner, "Dad, I caught a fish, a monster fish". While Mark is talking to him, I check my phone and I had a text message. This was what I found..........
It weighed about 40lbs and was about 38 1/2 inches long. Gunner reeled it in all by himself. (He has just bought a brand new salmon rod and spincast(?) reel this summer, so it has the stink off it). He was pretty stoked. Phil was hoping like hell he didn't miss it with the net!!
Not much action the rest of they day, they were getting ready to leave and Gunner has another hit on his pole. After the other 2 got their gear in the boat, Gunner gave his pole to Phil's buddy and he reeled it in, it was his first salmon, Not as big, but still a nice looking fish. It weighed about 20lbs(ish) and was about 30ish inches. Both fish were caught on some special homemade spinners that Mark had made. He's not happy or anything is he???

Drake Football Update.....
Had a game on Wednesday night, at the high school. Glad I was sitting under cover. When I got there it was not too bad but about the end of the 1st quarter it started pouring buckets. (I thought Missy was crazy when she sent me a text that she was sitting in the pouring rain watching soccer. At that point it had not hit us yet.)
Started out to be a good game, but quickly became boring. We were up 22-0 at the end of the 1st quarter, won 28-0.
Drake did have a highlight, they were on defense and it was either 3rd or 4th down and the quarterback threw a pass and Drake intercepted it. He managed to run it back about 7 yards (YEAH DRAKE, would have been cool if it was a TD), but it did set up the offense to score the 1st TD of the game. Of course I did not have my camera ready for it either. As I said, after that it got boring. Pop Warner has a rule that if you score more than, I think 28 points and beat them, then your coach is suspended. We had several times where we got the ball and just punted it back to them. Drake did end up playing quarterback for most of the offense and it was good practice (but kinda frustrating becuase he couldn't pass and did not have the normal running backs), 
But a win is a win and they are now 3-0. Looks like a promising season!! Keep it up boys.

Ready for some Football?!?!?!?!?!
Football has started.......
Drake actually missed the first game because was at Lake Chelan (Did not know the games were starting so early). His team beat West Albany (yeah), I think 24-0. They played again Wednesday at Crescent Valley and they won 34-12. Of course about the 4th play of the game on defense Drake was called for a facemask penalty. Luckily that was not the worst penalty and it did not impact the outcome of the game. He played good solid game and even took a couple snaps as Quarterback.
Here is a pic of Drake in his uniform, he looks so handsome (I was gonna say cute, but I think he is getting too old for cute), but gotta say, not lovin the uniform color combo, but hey, they didn't ask me :D
