Tournament 4th, 5th & 6th @ Beaverton for Drake....Happy Holiday :D

I'm Melting!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, today was WAYYYY toooo hot for baseball.

Our weekend actually started with Drake having a game last night, but we won't talk about that.

Our day today started with Drake playing at 8:00 A.M. in Albany (lost, won't talk about, he was done for the day. We then raced up to Newberg for Gunner's games. His first game was at 10:30 A.M., they won 10-0, then they played again at 2:50 P.M. and ended up tied the middle of the 7th, but because of the time limit, the score reverted back to the last inning that wasn't tied and we were up 3-1, so we won. Tough Loss for the other team it was a great game to watch, Gunner had a few plays and a nice hit.

SOOOOO, We play again tomorrow, they both play at 10:30 A.M. (one in Albany, one in Newberg) and the rest of the day is dependent on how they both do. Went thru lots of water and gaterade.

Scores, Highlights and Schedule.....

Ok, don't have scores, other than both boys lost their games Tuesday (but both shouldh have won). Not much for highlights other than Gunner made a sliding catch/stop playing 2nd and, from his knees, threw the kid out at first. Wish I could have seen that (I was at Drakes games).

Sooo, Gunner plays tonight (6/26) @ 6:00 P.M. at Bob Smith in Lebanon and then has a tournament in Newberg Saturday, 1st game @ 10:30 A.M. (anyone want directions :D).

Drake plays Friday (6/27) @ 6:00 P.M. at Central in Albany and then again at 8:00 A.M. Saturday (6/28) at Central in Albany. He will play again Sunday, in Albany, but don't know times yet. If anyone can make it, that is where we will be. Drake is quite the studly little (ok not so little anymore) Catcher Dude!! Will post more highlights and maybe pics later......Stay Cool!!!!!

Here are few picturs to highlighting what we have done.....

So far, we have played in tournaments in Redmond (snow), Bend (rain, thunder & lighthing), Reedville for Mother's Day, McMinnville for Father's Day, South Salem, just because (?!) and still have West Albany, Newberg and Beaverton. Wowsa!!! Both Gunner and Drake were on a float in the Strawberry Parade, as you can see we went to the Knight's game and had many practices and games in between. I will post highlights as I can after the games.

Baseball, Baseball and More Baseball

Our summer has been consumed with baseball. We have had way too many tournaments, doubleheaders, Bbq's and games to count. This last weekend was spent at a baseball camp hosted by the Corvallis Knights, a bbq @ Avery Park and finished up the evening at the Corvallis Knight's baseball game (they lost in the 11th inning). The boys had fun, were able to run the bases (at Goss Stadium, where the OSU Beavers play) and had souvenier baseballs signed by the players. It was a good day!!!

This week brings games on Tuesday & Thursday for both boys, and tournaments this weekend in opposite directions!!!!! Good thing I enjoy the game!! Enjoy the pictures.
