Harrison Update, Part 1.......

Yes, we are still around and active (maybe too active LOL). My goal for the new year was to be a better blogger, but hmmm, it is now middle/end of July and I have not posted since November?? I tried to use the excuse that we had nothing going on and nothing to blog about, but no one really bought that excuse. SOOOOO, here is a very condensed photo journey of our last few, 6, 9 months....... After the Challenge Albany had homecoming and Nicole was a princess so we all went over and watched that (can't believe how grown up the kids are getting)

then on Thanksgiving, not only was I cooking dinner, but Drake and I decided to do the Turkey Trot in Corvallis. What a brisk morning and what a drill sargent Drake is but I knocked 5 min off my 5K time!

We also had football for Drake, at this point, I honestly don't remember alot of specifics LOL

Then it was time for Christmas. Missy and I decided the kids needed to go to Storybook Land, not really sure how much of it was for them and how much was for us.

Christmas eve had us all at Missy's house for the evening. Talk about some shenanigans! But we have taught our kids how to have fun and be silly, those are some of the best times, being silly.

Gunner also got his Driver's License in there too but bad mom didn't get any pictures of that..........had mixed feelings about a teenage drive, but it sure makes my life easier in alot of ways.

Harrison Update, Part 2......

January started off as most new years do, kinda like what do we do now. Well FFA did Donkey basketball as a fundraiser, holy cow, that was the funniest thing ever!!! Hope they do it again next year.

We also had basketball for Drake, again don't remember alot of specifics....

Then we decided we needed to go see the snow and take the new truck and see what it could. There was alot of snow on the ground and it snowed while we were there, soo pretty!

(not sure all pictures are in exact chronological order, but you get the picture LOL) Angela, Missy and I had a girls weekend at Tollgate with Sherri. That was so much fun and we were silly and shopped and drank wine and it snowed and I need more of those kinds of weekends! (We even got a walk in, I think every day/evening).

In early March, Drake and I did the Foster Lake Hike that was sponsered by Build Lebanon Trails. I really enjoyed that, it was a nice easy hike from the boat ramp to Lewis Creek, would like to do it again this summer with the kids.

Then it was time for my birthday. The boys went to Christmas Valley after sage rats so Missy and I decided we needed some girl time. We stayed the night in Portland and I had a princess birthday. We shopped all the way up there then stayed in our room with wine, room service and pinterest. What more could a girl want?

Shortly after this, we decided we don't have enough going on our in life or enough spare time, we decided it as time to buy a boat (actually an opportunity presented itself that was too good to pass up) so we now own a big boat

Harrison Update, Part 3......

We are now well into spring, end of school is coming and we are in the middle/swing of baseball.  For those that don't know or remember, in the middle of all this I also switched jobs......
May brought the Cheadle 5K, last year Missy and I did it with the kids, had a great time, even though it rained and it was our first one ever.  We wanted to start a tradition to do it each year, but the kids were all doing other things this year, but Missy and I did it....I love 5K's even though that is pretty much what I walk every day LOL

In the middle of craziness, we know someone who is trying to get her photography business going, so I had her take some pictures of the boys. I was really pleased with how some of them turned out,  of course when you have cute boys to start with, what do you expect :D

End of school was rapidly approaching, Gunner was inducted into National Honor Society and then at the FFA Banquet received a leadership award and was installed as President for his Senior year. Very proud of both of those accomplishments.

Drake had 8th grade gradutation, then him and I went on the DC/NYC trip (What a blast and I know that should be a blog post all it's own) then he immediately went to Linn County Search and Rescue Academy for 11 days.  He graduated as a squad leader :D  (It was literally like boot camp!)

Ok, so I really did have things happening that I should have blogged about. I am sure there are things that I missed, but this basically an overview. I'm pretty sure there are things I should elaborate more, but hey atleast I have updated my blog!

I will try to do better, especially since I am currently sitting at the fairgrounds for the Linn County Fair and both boys have piggies they are showing....that should give me something to blog about.
